Criteria for Selection Among Switzerland’s Top Independent Asset Managers

March 28, 2023 – For the fifth time, Switzerland’s most influential independent asset managers have been selected by Citywire Switzerland. To receive the accolade as one of the TOP 50, independent asset managers must:

• be in possession of, or in the process of obtaining, the new FINMA portfolio manager license
• operate independently from banks or other financial services providers
• offer discretionary wealth management services for private clients
• are free to choose external products and service providers, essentially having an open architecture approach to investment management

Citywire Switzerland then identifies the 50 firms with the largest assets under management in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, including assets under administration, advice, and control.
