Christian De Prati joins as Chairman of the Board

Dr. De Prati brings decades of leadership experience in international banking. As former CEO & Country Head Switzerland at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he managed the Swiss operations and developed deep relationships with institutional and UHNW clients. He also serves on the Board of Rothschild & Co Bank AG and is a member of the Board of Adecoagro (AGRO), a leading agricultural company. His expertise in governance, investment banking, and cross-border advisory work adds strategic depth to the Alpen group of firms as the firms scale their platform and strengthen their market presence.

Stephan Welti joins as an independent Board member

Mr. Welti contributes extensive experience in governance, regulatory oversight, and risk management. At Sygnum Bank, he was part of the leadership team responsible for securing the first FINMA banking license for a regulated digital asset bank. Previously, he led Deloitte Switzerland’s Regulatory, Compliance & Legal Financial Services practice and served as Chief Risk Officer & General Counsel at a Swiss private bank. His operational and regulatory expertise reinforces the Board’s ability to guide growth and deliver consistent client service across key markets.
