Mr. Welti previously worked at Sygnum Bank as Group Head of Legal & Compliance. Prior to that he was in the Financial Services Leadership Team and held the position of Head Regulatory, Compliance & Legal at Deloitte Switzerland as well as was Chief Risk Officer and General Counsel at a Private Banking firm in Zurich. Mr. Welti began his career at an international business law firm. Mr. Welti holds a Master's in Law from the University of St. Gallen and a LL.M. in International Business Law (CAS) from the University of Zurich. He has participated in a number of industry expert groups and has also been a guest lecturer on private and business law at the University of St Gallen. Mr. Welti is a passionate tennis player, skier and cyclist. He is a Swiss citizen.
